Culture in Jerusalem
The goal of the Culture and City Image Project is to expose students and young adults to Jerusalem’s rich heritage and cultural scene, to "open up" the city's hidden treasures. New Spirit has formed strategic partnerships with many cultural institutions and businesses in the city, offering students exclusive cultural and Jewish Heritage events.
We put great effort into encouraging students from their colleges and campuses around town to rediscover downtown Jerusalem, and not make do with events on campus or near it. To date, 15,000 students and young adults enjoy up to date information, reduced price tickets and exclusive events, all published on our weekly newsletter.
The "Jerusalem Student Club" (an independent (non-municipal) coalition of student unions from the city's various academic institutions), founded by New Spirit, has created major "buying power" for the student population. This was leveraged to successfully negotiate student discounts in various cultural institutions and businesses around the city (for example, this year over 4500 students subscribed to our discounted student membership at the New-spirit produces over 100 cultural events each year, wich attract more than 10,000 participants.
